Syndrome of gastric emptying, also called rapid gastric emptying, it is a group of symptoms that are more likely to develop after surgery to remove all or part of the stomach. Dumping syndrome is not preventable. However, measures such as diet adjustments can prevent the recurrence of symptoms and minimize their severity. People affected with this disease are advised to eat meals small, avoid liquids with meals, reducing the carbohydrate content of foods, cooking methods using low-fat and avoid acidic foods.
