Best moisterizer color (maybe the foundation) to dry acne prone skin?
I can take medication for acne and really help, but makes my skin dry and flaky. I need soemthing that covers well and feels light. It has to last all day. Soemthing that can be found in a pharmacy? THX!
I am a makeup artist. Although I always say you should invest in a good base, because it is your canvas, I think I can help you select some decent drugstore brands. It better for you to use if you do not need much coverage and have dry skin is a bit of concealer and tinted moisturizer. One that I find worthy of the hype is Formula Organic Medical Use tinted moisturizer ($ 10 – $ 12). You should also try the collection of Sally Hansen Carmindy. You should ALWAYS use a good moisturizer after washing your face, and just before putting in the foundation. If you find that even foundations are doing moisturizing dry, add little moisturizer on the foundation. I use the movie is Elizabeth Arden Velva Moisture, followed by Rimmel Fix and Perfect Manual, takes a bit of liquid foundation on your hand, squeeze a few points of moisturizer on top, and mix with your foundation brush then apply immediately.
