Boston Terrier constantly scratches, very broken skin and rashes.?
My 13 years. Old female Boston Terrier started to itch and break whole body approx. two years. ago. I have taken to the vet. many times and has reviewed for any skin disease or parracites and none were found. He told me I had developed allergies. We even had on antibiotics because of the smell that develops from constant scratching. He rubs against anything that will scratch the itch. She likes the hearth that stands a little back. I've tried different foods, shampoos, etc, but nothing seems to help. I even tried rincing it with colloidal silver (natural antibiotic) after bathing. She acts for misserable. Does anyone have a solution or experience with the same status?
The itching is probably worse during the time of tree pollen. This is very common in purebred dogs because of inbreeding took to get broken in some way part of their natural functioning. You can give your dog a Benadryl. Sounds like it should be about the weight of a 10-year-old children to use dose. This will give your dog a big relief. You may want to bathe in anti-itch shampoo once a week during times of pollen. You can go to the Weather Channel online and check the pollen count to see if they are trees, grass, pollen or foods that bother the majority. If you find yourself in trouble throughout the year, you may want to get a kit to test mold and Menards home. Many homes have mold and the owners do not even know! I tested my home and found five different types in the test plate. We removed the carpet, sealed floors, set new mildew-resistant padding and laminate flooring. KILZ paint was used throughout the house and TSP is used in walls and floors before painting. We have also added mold retardant paint finish. I made sure our channels are cleaned four times a year (we live in the forest) and Relieve the yard to make sure water leaves the house. However, with a bag matteress allergy and no curtains, blinds only, I have some problems with allergies, but nothing was. Now, its only when the tree pollen is high that I have problems. But if I go into a house with mold, it gives me an instant migraine. I hope this information helps. I'm surprised that the vet has not put your pet in the shots and pills hydrocortazone Benadryl.
