The family doctor or dermatologist for athlete's foot / eczema test?
I have the intention of having a medical check-toes, and I'm sure if it's a case of athlete's foot or eczema. Therefore, I wonder what would be the best: a family doctor I usually go to (who gave me the cream and medication for my itching but it was not very useful) or to a dermatologist. What do you recommend for a person with symptoms of skin disease going to see? Lelia
I suffer with a mild case of eczema, my hands, and for the first time the doctor, and also gave me some cream, but in the end I went to the dermatologist, and the problem has been resolved. A dermatologist is definitely the way forward for skin problems, as is his specialty, and they know that the creams and pills to take right to help cure the disease. It sounds like you may have a touch of athlete's foot, which is in their toes, and if you wear dark socks all the time, not white, and do not let your feet breath, removing his shoes and socks, it's easy to get athlete's foot. Every time I'm wearing shoes or boots I always wear white socks and Dr. Scholl, has excellent products for foot care. Good luck ………
