Has anyone used tea tree oil to treat eczema in children?
I refuse to use the new bathroom bleach method, but the oil tea tree can help you listen? If used, you helped a lot and what brand? Please do not bother to mention Eucerin, Aquaphor, Aveeno or cortisone. I've tried all that. Is it really going to see a dermatologist for her. He prescribed a cortisone cream is good for the children of his age (4 months) but that was it. Can be used only for two weeks at a time maximum. Works great until you have done with two weeks, then slowly turns everything to his back and shoulders.
Have you taken him / her a child dermatologist? I took my daughter and she was prescribed two different medications mix together to put in the eczema, and other body lotion. Within two weeks cleared all! Before you try tea tree oil, take it to a dermatologist. ETA: My doctor prescribed this for my DD. He prescribed her Bactroban (an antibiotic cream) to mix with mometasone (a mild steroid). We assume that they are mixed and applied to the legs 2x a day for 2 weeks, 1 time per day for two weeks, and every other day for two weeks. In addition, he prescribed EpiCeram, cream skin barrier to use a couple of times a day mild cortisone did nothing for my daughter. It worked for a week, then returned. Cortisone moderate with antibiotic cream helped me a lot. Good luck, hope you find something that works!
