Cycling hurts "feminine side" … what is wrong?
I recently purchased a road bike and usually ride 10-15 miles day, about a pace of 20 mph. However, it seems that the seat digs into the "feminine side" and are pain during and after my travels. Could that the position of my seat or something else? A professional bike shop bike fitted to me, so I think everything is configured correctly. I'm too embarrassed to ask the bike shop this … any idea what might cause irritation, pain or is this normal for women?
Two things. Saddle angle and the type of saddle. For women, the chair should be slightly lower in front to prevent the kind of irritation you describe. If the inclination the nose of your saddle down a degree or two does not work, you will have to explore buying a chair designed for women
