Well, you certainly do both things have their pros and cons, but I would say it would be safer to go with the cleaning treatment if your body is not accustomed to oral medication. The effects side cleaning treatments affect only the areas that the product has been applied (such as itching, burning, redness, dryness, breakage, etc.) while side effects of oral medication in your body internally (such as vomiting, headaches, nausea, drowsiness, etc).
