abscess usual finger! go?
2 days ago I went to my clinic to get some drainage for paronychia (nail infection finger). He cut the abscess to help flush bacteria. She said it better. He prescribed Keflex as my antibiotic. I've been taking as directed. Its now the 4th and the abscess is strong, I can feel my pulse through it. I feel as if my thumb joint is very rigid. But you can still move and bend a little. Normally I worry, but wouldnt everyone sais should disappear within two days and blah, blah, blah of what I have been reading on the Internet, it has been on my finger for a long time? Going back to get it looked at Monday. The opinion is much appreciated at this time. By the way its sharp and just a single finger
I was assigned as abscesses antibiotics will not help that proved Merca which is a type of staff infection not responding to antibiotics. When you go to the doctor again they have swab of Merca. Before that when they bathe the abscess and the rest of your body with Epson salts (which are available at pharmacies) and hot compresses three times a day or more. If something comes to the surface clean with tea tree oil, please antibiotic ointment and a bandage on it and be drained. Hope it helps and has no Merca. Good luck ^ ^
