The role of diabetes on cellulite

One of the states of the most common disease that is linked or associated with cellulite is diabetes. People with diabetes usually develop infections of the skin as cellulite. When a diabetic person has cellulite, their statistics sicker or makes cellulite worse.

Why diabetics are prone to cellulite and re-infection Cellulitis?

We often hear of diabetic cellulite or cellulitis of diabetics. This is due to the strong influence of diabetes on the development of cellulite.

1. The increase in blood glucose – the main problem in diabetes is the uncontrolled rise in blood sugar in the blood. This increase in blood glucose in a person is very good medium for bacterial growth, which is the cause of cellulite. In diabetes, blood glucose rises to a very high level which makes it a favorable environment for bacterial growth.

2. Slower blood flow – The highest concentration of glucose in the blood causes the blood more viscous or thick in a sense. This makes it harder for blood to flow through small vessels. Therefore, the life blood components have difficult to reach places where the wounds and other skin breaks are. This slow blood flow has a consequence for wound healing slow. Therefore, many infected wounds and slow healing results for people with diabetes. Open wounds and infected become easy entry points for bacteria to grow and invade the skin. Cellulite becomes a common infection of the diabetic.

3. If undetected skin wounds – Some Diabetics have a problem with the perception of pain as well. Therefore, many of them have wounds on the body parts up and others who do not receive adequate care and cure. This makes possible diabetes cellulitis as the bacteria get into these wounds.
