Do I have trichomoniasis or a yeast infection?
Since I had strep throat and had to take antibiotics, I have been having women's issues. I had a lot of discharge, at first I smelled bad, but then began to smell, now I feel I can smell in full dress sitting on my desk. It is a horrible smell, just strong and does not seem to be a fishy odor. It is thick, yellow, and white. There seems to be frothy, only kind of thick. The rest of my vulva area becomes very dry, as the skin is dry and it hurts when I urinate and wipe it uncomfortable to have sex. I'm going to the doctor, but I guess I really do not want to because I'm embarrassed because trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease, and I think that in addition to discharge looks and smells a little gross. Do you have or can my husband have? Should I get tested? Can men get yeast infections? Also, it would happen if I left without trying? Will or worse? I am very ashamed of these questions.
