Do I have tinea versicolor, and if not what could this be?
I've been going to the tanning bed for the first time in a year, the first time I have a month in the tanning bed I had no problems .. but this time I've noticed some white spots on the stomach. I looked online and what I found is similar to what I'm trying is tinea versicolor. but what I have does not itch or anything, without bumps or rashes as well .. I've heard some people have to have tinea versicolor. I will put a picture up here so you can see what my stomach looks. and also, what are some of the ways I could get rid of this? Why can not this happen the first month I went to the tanning bed a year ago? and I have to worry about this for the rest of my life? this is really beginning to worry: / thank you in advance! heres the image: it also seems http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y7/ditzydodgersfan7/htcheropictures463.jpg much more evident in person, but I'm sure you can see what I'm talking about at least.
I barely noticed when I saw the picture but if your worried reality check this out http://www.medicinenet.com/tinea_versicolor/article.htm is said that its not permanent it is good if you think your tanning, cut back a little and see if it disappears. They have some similar conditions in the bottom of that page that could also be to look into it
