Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis and its permanence?
I have had atopic dermatitis (a form of eczema?) For a few years now and is really hurt my self-esteem, but my mom did not want to take me to a dermatologist and learn more about it and how to treat it. So .. I read a lot places that atopic dermatitis has no cure. Is this true? If it were to be treated is at least visible on the skin? Is there a specific product certain that I should study about how to deal with this? How long will it take? If it is, I'll have to keep buying and using that product or I can keep away from the precautions in the diet, hydration, etc etc? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm very bad use of the Internet and I do not know anyone with this disease. Thanks in advance for your answers.
Hello. Let me guess, you are under 16 years of age. Watch: 15% of children (teens included in the category) has eczema (atopic dermatitis is another name for eczema) and only 1-2% of adults. Chances are that your skin will clear itself when the time comes. Not worry about it at this time. Keep your skin moisturized, avoid hot showers / baths (dries the skin), avoid household chemicals and soaps perfume / shampoo. If push comes to the truth, you may also want to try the cream for eczema-Champori – who worked on my eczema like clockwork. Cheers, Stella
