How effective is the treatment for yeast infection?
I have a yeast infection, but I have no insurance and no I can go see a doctor. I was searching the net, and apparently there is much controversy about Monistat, etc. I was wondering if anyone has used non-prescription treatment cure the infection, and if so, which? Thanks so much. 
My doctor told me (last time I had one) that is potentially better OTC antiobiotic that a document would. She instructed to use a kit 3-7 days, then wait a week (without sex) and make another set of 3-7 days. There are also other methods that are supposed to be useful in health food stores. Google for more ideas. (I do not use Monistat, I just got the store brand.) I do not like antibiotics and I am against their use unless absolutely no other way!
